1. Our purpose
Ummatia exists to support Muslim communities — mosques, prayer times, charity (Bait-ul-Maal), Halal services, and trusted travel information. We are not a government body, bank, travel agency, or religious court.
2. Accounts
You must provide a valid phone number and keep your login secure. One person should not create accounts to harass others or evade moderation. Elevated roles (mosque manager, travel agent, caterer, store owner) are mutually exclusive for safety.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, fraudulent, or misleading listings or donation details
- Impersonate a mosque, charity, agent, or person
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others
- Use the platform for money laundering, scams, or illegal fundraising
- Scrape, attack, or disrupt the service
- Upload unlawful, hateful, or sexually exploitative content
Misuse may lead to immediate account suspension, removal of content, and civil or criminal action under the laws of your country and state/province — including India · Telangana.
4. User-generated content
Mosques, agencies, stores, caterers, events, and Bait-ul-Maal items are submitted by users. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish. Ummatia may edit, hide, or remove content that violates these Terms.
5. No payment processing
Donations, tour bookings, and shop purchases happen off-platform between you and the other party. Ummatia does not hold funds and is not liable for failed transfers or dishonest recipients — verify before you pay.
6. Regional rules (India · Telangana)
For users in India (including Telangana): you must comply with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, consumer-protection laws, and any state regulations that apply to online platforms, charitable collections, travel services, and personal data.
Misuse of this platform — including fraud, impersonation, unauthorised fundraising, spreading false information about religious or community services, or harassment — may attract civil and criminal liability under Indian law. Ummatia may report credible evidence of misuse to competent authorities.
Nothing on Ummatia is a fatwa, legal opinion, or government service. Prayer times and Qibla are approximate tools; confirm with your local mosque.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law in India · Telangana, Ummatia and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform or reliance on third-party listings.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. Material changes may require re-acceptance at sign-in.
