- Phone number (for login OTP / account)
- Optional name, email, username, profile photo
- Home locality you save (country, state, district, etc.)
- Listings you create (mosque, agency, store, caterer, events, items)
- Feedback messages and tour enquiries you submit
- Coarse visit logs (approximate location from network headers) for community traffic insights
- Cookies / local storage: session (`mi_session`), locality, theme, install counters
2. How we use data
To authenticate you, show relevant local content, operate listings, improve safety (moderation), and measure basic usage (visits / app installs). We do not sell personal data.
3. Sharing
We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, SMS, email, file storage) under contract, or when required by law / to prevent serious misuse. Public listing fields you publish are visible to other users.
4. Retention & security
We keep account and listing data while your account is active, and prune short-lived visit logs. We use industry-standard protections (HTTPS, hashed passwords/OTPs, HTTP-only sessions). No system is perfectly secure.
5. Your rights (India · Telangana)
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us via Feedback or the About page. We may need to verify your identity.
For users in India (including Telangana): you must comply with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, consumer-protection laws, and any state regulations that apply to online platforms, charitable collections, travel services, and personal data.
6. Children
Ummatia is intended for adults and mature teens with guardian guidance where required by local law. Do not create an account for a child in violation of your country’s rules.
